Hasegawa 01331 1/72 F-4Ej Phantom Ii

Hasegawa 01331 1/72 F-4Ej Phantom Ii

The F-4EJ Phantom II is an interceptor (intercepting enemy aircraft by scrambling, etc.) fighter plane adopted by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force based on the F-4E developed in the United States.

Due to the circumstances of Japan at the time, the bombing control devices and the aerial refueling devices were removed.

The rest of the aircraft is almost the same as the American F-4E type.
The F-4EJ was produced in Japan midway through, and the last aircraft produced
was the last of all Phantoms. (Total number of Phantoms produced: 5,195)

The F-4EJ was deployed at bases all over Japan, but
now that the aircraft are old, some have been converted to F-4EJ Kai and reconnaissance type RF-4EJ.
